Chinmaya Mission

Chinmaya Mission is a worldwide organization which promotes the understanding of the philosophy of Bhagavad Geeta and Upanishads to people from all walks of life.  This 11,000 SF, two-story facility provides a 2,500 SF multipurpose hall on the upper level and twelve classrooms  on the lower level of the building.

The hall receives natural light through centrally located clerestory windows in the cupola roof, and is equipped with state-of-the-art A/V and lighting system.  The alter for worship is placed on the east-west axis and the performing stage is located on the north-south axis of the hall to clearly define the two distinct functions of the hall.  The architecture of the building is reminiscent of Indian Classical Architecture.
