Peter Jefferson Place I-VII
PJP Office Buildings 1-7 were all constructed within the 220 acre Peter Jefferson Place development located in the rolling hills of Charlottesville, VA, within view of historic Monticello. As the architects for the Park, nbj Architecture was challenged to design a building that preserved the historical character of the region while maintaining commercial needs and budgets. Six buildings later, PJP Offices have set the design standard not only for the Park but for Albemarle County as a whole.
Through creative design and innovative thinking by the nbj team, the most recent addition to the Park, PJP VII, achieved a LEED Silver rating while maintaining the Peter Jefferson Place design standards. The building only had a 3% increase in cost over a non LEED rated building.
